Privacy Policy

The South African Marketers Circle is operated by Terence. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

What we collect

When you subscribe to the South African Marketers Circle, we collect your name and email address via our payment processor, Paystack. We do not operate an independent registration platform and do not collect any additional personal information beyond what is required to process your subscription.

How we use your information

Your name and email address are used solely to process your subscription, send you membership communications, and provide you with access to the community. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party.

Payment information

All payment processing is handled securely by Paystack. We do not store your card details. Please refer to Paystack's privacy policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

WhatsApp

When you join the South African Marketers Circle WhatsApp community, your participation is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Please be aware that other community members will be able to see your WhatsApp display name and profile picture.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, or to unsubscribe from communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@SAmarketerscircle.co.za.

Terms of Service

By subscribing to the South African Marketers Circle, you agree to the following terms.

The service

The South African Marketers Circle provides access to a private, moderated WhatsApp community for South African marketing professionals. Membership is provided on a monthly subscription basis.

Membership and access

Membership is personal and non-transferable. Access to the community is granted upon successful payment of the applicable subscription fee. We reserve the right to decline or revoke membership at our discretion, including where a member violates our community guidelines.

Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Paystack. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are displayed clearly on our website and confirmed at checkout.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@SAmarketerscircle.co.za or managing your subscription directly through Paystack. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the community until that date.

Community conduct

All members are expected to adhere to the South African Marketers Circle community guidelines, which are available in the community itself. Violations may result in removal from the community without refund.

Limitation of liability

The South African Marketers Circle provides a platform for peer discussion and professional networking. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, opportunities, or results from membership. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in the community or reliance on information shared within it.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email.

Refund Policy

Monthly subscriptions

The South African Marketers Circle operates on a monthly subscription basis. Because access to the community is granted immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds for the current billing period once a subscription has been charged.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Exceptions

We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged after cancelling your subscription
  • A technical error resulted in an incorrect charge
  • You were unable to access the community due to an error on our side

To request a refund under any of these circumstances, please contact us at support@SAmarketerscircle.co.za within 7 days of the charge in question.

Removal for misconduct

Members who are removed from the community for violating our community guidelines are not entitled to a refund for any portion of their subscription period.
